Chiropractic Care That Starts With the Nervous System.
At Connected Health Center, we take a neurologically focused approach to chiropractic care—looking beyond symptoms to better understand how your nervous system is functioning, communicating, and adapting.
Rather than using the same approach for every patient, Dr. Skyler combines careful listening, hands-on examination, objective nervous-system scans, and personalized adjustments to create care that reflects your individual needs.
Your Nervous System Matters.
Your nervous system includes your brain, spinal cord, and the network of nerves that communicate with the rest of your body. It helps coordinate movement, sensation, balance, stress responses, recovery, and your ability to adapt to everyday life.
Physical, emotional, and environmental stress can influence how the body functions and responds. That is why our approach considers more than where you hurt. We also look at how your body may be adapting to the demands placed upon it.
Why We Do What We Do
Our vision is to help create a healthier Wilmington community where families and individuals understand the connection between the nervous system and the body—and feel empowered to pursue healthier, more connected lives.
Personalized Wellness Services
Non-invasive CLA INSiGHT scans help us gather objective information about how your nervous system is functioning and responding to stress.
Heart Rate Variability (HRV): Provides insight into the balance between stress, recovery, and adaptability.
Thermal Scanning: Measures temperature patterns along the spine associated with autonomic nervous-system activity.
Surface Electromyography (sEMG): Measures muscle activity and tension patterns along the spine.
Chiropractic adjustments that focus on the relationship between the spine, brain, and nervous system.
Using your health history, examination findings, and nervous-system scans, we adjust based on your body’s needs. The goal is to reduce interference, support healthy nervous-system function, and help your body respond and adapt more effectively.
A child’s nervous system is continually developing and adapting. Pediatric chiropractic care uses gentle, age-appropriate techniques designed specifically for infants and children.
We evaluate each child carefully and adjusts the amount of pressure and technique according to their age, size, and individual needs. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, supportive experience for both children and their parents.
